SLJ Review of Teen Titans Go! Multiverse Adventures
The newest four titles in the Teen Titans Go! series bring the high-energy adventures of Robin, Cyborg, Starfire, Raven, and Beast Boy from the popular cartoon to the page. This time, the team faces multiverse mayhem, encounters zombie versions of themselves, embarks on a wild quest to find Davy Jones’s locker, and more. The books are filled with vibrant onomatopoeia in large, colorful fonts that jump off the page. The illustrations closely resemble the animated style of the TV show, which will delight fans of the series. While these books serve as decent chapter books, they’re especially well-suited for readers already familiar with Teen Titans Go!
VERDICT: Libraries where the series is popular will find these new titles to be a solid addition, offering more of the humor, action, and wacky adventures fans expect.
